“This is a good day,” a beaming Obama said. “This is a very good day.”
The new law ends the 17-year-old “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy that forced gays to hide their sexual orientation or face dismissal.
“I say to all Americans, gay or straight, who want nothing more than to defend this country in uniform, your country needs you, your country wants you, and we will be honored to welcome you into the ranks of the finest military the world has ever known,” Obama said.

I FINALLY finished all the seasons of LOST!
and well…
I still feel Lost!
I never got into the show when it was on TV.. Then one day it came on Netflix “watch instantly” I thought “what the hell, Ill give it a go” I got HOOKED to say the least. I wasn’t quite caught up when season 6 came on TV .. so I decided to wait patiently for the DVD to come out. Dodging Twitter, Facebook… etc. when the show would come on. I refused to let anyone spoil it for me. I watched the last season finale (6) last night. Season 6 was really cheesy to me. Sometimes I felt as if they pushed alot of “life lessons.” Long story short, the ending was a little “eh!” I would have been a lot happier if Jack would have killed “fake Locke” but then the “man in black” took over Jack’s body. Then Jack turned into the black smoke and attacked the plane with the rest of the Lost crew… then credits. THE END!
Ugh!
